If you have any policy question, please contact a member of our board.
Due to a few emails that have recently appeared in our mailboxes, I thought it might be a good idea to quickly go over some guidelines regarding communication to the membership. In the interest of everyone's email inboxes, please refrain from sending emails to the whole membership body. That having been said, we definitely want to encourage all Capital City Communicators (CCC) members to network and spread their message to the other CCC members -- it is, after all, one of the primary reasons that CCC was created -- and the following three methods exist to help "get the word out" to the whole body:
• Our monthly meetings: This allows members to seek out and speak directly with individuals that you think will benefit from your message.
• The CCC newsletter: Our newsletter is sent to all members and includes topics that benefit everybody, such as luncheon reminders and seminar notifications. Our newsletter goes out the second week of each month and its content is approved by the board. If you feel your message would benefit the whole membership, contact one of the board members by email by the first week of each month. The board will determine if your message should be placed in that months edition.
• The CCC website: The website offers many opportunities to spread your message in the "members area." You can post events in "Around Town", market your talents in our "For Hire" area and post job openings in the "Jobs" section. Drop by www.cccboise.org and take a look around!
If you're unsure about the best way to communicate your message to the group, please feel free contact a board member and we'll be more than happy to assist you. We're all communicators and we all want to share our message with others. CCC is a great forum for sharing, and we hope with these few guidelines we will all be successful in our pursuits.
